Trend Micro Password Manager is only really worth it if you get it bundled with Trend Micro’s antivirus software through the Maximum Security or Premium Security Suite plans. They also come with key extras like password sharing, emergency access, and account recovery options, all of which Trend Micro’s password manager lacks. Competitors like 1Password or Dashlane provide far more security features, are easier to use, and offer an overall far better value for both individuals and families. Honeslty, there are significantly better password managers out there in 2022. It also has a variety of advanced security features, including keystroke encryption, password vault auditing, and dark web monitoring (mobile apps only). It offers all the essential security features, such as 256-bit AES encryption, a zero-knowledge policy, and 2FA (two-factor authentication) options. Trend Micro Password Manager is a mediocre product that’s really only good for people looking for basic but secure password storage.
